Terms and conditions applying to the customers of Hallbeck Engineering LTD, Unit 6, Canal Wood Industrial Estate, Chirk, Wrexham, LL14 5RL

1. Unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing these terms and conditions apply to any order placed by you.
2. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other terms and conditions printed or written upon any other documents passing between us (including your purchase order) these terms and conditions shall prevail.
3. No variation of these terms and conditions shall apply unless expressively accepted by us in writing.
4. Goods sold by us shall remain our sole and absolute property until paid for in full.
5. Payment for the goods shall be made prior to supply of the goods.
6. All Prices are in GBP Sterling and subject to VAT at the current rate of 20%
7. Delivery shall be deemed to have been made when the goods leave our premises. You should insure the goods for loss or damage in transit as risk in the goods shall pass to you on delivery.
8. Any defect that is due to a manufacturing or assembly fault under normal use is covered by this warranty. This provision applies for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first.
9. The warranty commences at the date of invoice.
10. Where a part is supplied on an exchange basis, the exchange unit must be delivered to us within 4 working weeks otherwise no claim will be entertained under the above warranty. The return unit must be of identical origin to the goods supplied.
11. You are advised to insure against any additional loss, damage or injury.
12. An administrative fee of £60 plus VAT will be made if goods returned are found to be defective to cover our costs of investigation.
13. You are recommended to check the fuel, oil and water systems and all ancillaries to ensure that they are in satisfactory condition.
14. The engine, parts and ancillaries should be fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Refund Policy

1. Our liability in respect of any defect or in failure of the goods supplied by us is limited to the replacement or repair of the defective part or parts at our discretion
2. Damage or failure resulting directly or indirectly from the following is not covered:-

• Fire, accidents or theft
• Abuse or negligence
• Misuse including racing and all forms of motorsport or overloading
• Fair wear and tear
• Defective installation and/or failure to follow manufacturers fitting instructions
• Overheating
• Alteration or tampering
• Lack of proper maintenance including the use of fluids other than those specified in the owner’s manual (proof of maintenance will be required)
• Water contamination
• A defect or fault in any ancillary part (except those supplied by ourselves)

      3. An administrative fee of £60 plus VAT will be made if goods returned are found to not be defective to cover our costs of investigation.
